All institutions and independent teams must complete registration and payment through this page.
Individual student registrations are not accepted

Do I need a coupon for the Early Bird discount?

No coupon is needed! If you register before 10 August 2025, the discounted rate of AUD $320 + GST will be applied automatically.

Can I register multiple teams at once?

Yes! You can register multiple teams by adding the desired number to your cart.
If you’re registering 8 or more teams after the Early Bird deadline, use the code TEAMIDC at checkout to receive the same discounted rate.

What happens after I register and pay?

After payment, you will automatically receive a confirmation email securing your team’s spot.
A few weeks before the tournament, our Tournament Coordination Team will contact you to collect team member details and share important updates.

Can students from different schools form one team?

Yes. Independent teams may include students from different schools, as long as they meet the age and year level requirements for their division.

Can I pay later or use offline payment?

Payment must be completed through this website during registration.
If your team needs to arrange payment through an invoice or transfer, please email us at info@idcdebating.com

Can I register as an individual?

No, we do not accept individual registrations.
All registrations must be submitted by a school or institution or as part of an independent team.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my registration?

A full refund will be granted for cancellations made on or before 25 August 2025 (60 days prior to the start of the tournament).
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 25 August 2025, regardless of the reason, including change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or inability to attend.
